From 2026-07-21 (Gemini 3.6 Flash GA) the alias's target, and so its price, is undocumented: the changelog's last statement is that gemini-3.5-flash became the model behind gemini-flash-latest on 2026-05-19, and nothing official says whether the alias moved to 3.6, 3.7 or 3.8 Flash (gemini-3.5-flash itself was deprecated and routed to gemini-3.6-flash on 2026-10-08). The exact date of the October 2025 cache cut is only bounded.
